Samsung finally revealed the Galaxy S20 FE (fan edition) last evening at a galaxy fan meet. This new model follows the core design language of Galaxy S20 series, but with trimmed down specifications, it’ll cost less than its forerunners.
Samsung says this phone is tailor-made for fans of all kinds, and for people who want it all. The phone offers a range of six on-trend hues for the consumers to choose from, they are cloud navy, cloud lavender, cloud mint, cloud red and cloud orange. The phone comes in both 4G and 5G variants.
The phone’s specifications are 6.5″ Full HD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED Display with 120Hz refresh rate, Triple lens Rear Camera with 3x optical zoom, 32Mp Front Camera, Up to 2.0 Gbps LTE, 4500 mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (5G) or Exynos 990 (4G) chipset with up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB built in storage + 1TB on microSD card, rated IP68 for water and dust resistance.
The phone is priced at $699 for a 5G model, which will cost around ₹52,000 in India. Pre orders are now open, sales will start from October 2 onwards. Specific date for the launch of the phone in India is yet to be disclosed.
