Germany fines H&M 35 million euros

H&M has been fined 35 million euros by the German authorities for internal data security breach at its customer service center in Nuremberg, on Thursday. The H&M group admits shortcomings at the service center and has taken steps to rectify things. According to the paper, H&M collected information on illness and other personal circumstances at the center. According to the German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, a probe was launched into H&M last year for unlawfully collecting personal information of its employees at the center.
