Coffee is a lifeline. It’s like the energy refill for us to work spirited. For some of us, the day may never feel complete without a rich cup of coffee. Yes, there is caffeine but it also has a high level of antioxidants and beneficial nutrients and when consumed in a finite amount is deemed to be healthy. We’ll save its health benefits for another article, and here we’ll see four different coffee recipes that’s loved by people.
- Cold Coffee:
All you need to make a nice frothy cup of refreshing cold coffee are some ice cubes, milk, sugar, and a blender/ mixie. Add coffee powder, sugar and milk to a mixer jar, blend it till it’s frothy, add ice cubes, blend again. Serve immediately.
- Chilled Nutella Coffee:
Blend cold milk with coffee powder, 2 tbsp. Nutella, ½ tsp vanilla essence and sugar. Serve immediately. You can top it with whipped cream or ice cream. Coffee is a versatile drink that goes well with almost anything. Instead of Nutella you can add ice cream, cocoa powder, chocolate and give it your own twist.
- Hot Cocoa Coffee:
Simmer milk, to a cup add coffee powder, 1 tbsp cocoa mix, sugar, ½ tsp cinnamon powder. First add a little bit of milk to this batch and whisk it with a fork to form no lumps, then add the rest of the milk. Stir well. Cinnamon is to add a flavorful zing to the drink, you can replace it with peppermint or skip it if you don’t like its flavor.
- Classic Americano:
For making these classy coffees like Americano and Cafe Latte, etc, what we’ll need is espresso coffee powder. It’s almost available in all super markets in common brands like Nescafe. Now for making it, follow the instructions on your pack and make espresso. Add milk and espresso in 1:1 ration, top it with cream/frothed milk.
The proportions of milk and coffee powder in all the recipes is 1-2 cups and 1 tbsp. respectively. You can use any type of sweetening agent that you prefer.
