Joe Biden: The Untold Story

Biden’s victory is celebrated from New York to Los Angeles by cheering, honking, and dancing with music blaring. But the 77-year -old man who is going to rule the most powerful countries in the world has started his career after enduring and facing a lot of hardships. On November 20th, 1942 Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was born to Joseph R. Biden Sr. and Catherine Eugenia Finnegan. Being raised in Pennsylvania and  Delaware, he started his career in law in 1968. In 1970, without any delay, he began his career in politics. He was the 5th youngest senator in American history. Sadly, a month later he had to go through the biggest of tragedies of his life. While his family was out for Christmas shopping, a tractor-trailer crashed into them, his wife and daughter were found dead and his sons were severely injured. As a single dad, he had to take care of his injured sons. He was sworn into the United States Senate in the same hospital room as his sons. This rock bottom of his life became the solid foundation on which he rebuilt his life. He trounced over the suicidal thoughts in the matter of being there for his sons. He was popularly known as ‘Amtrak Joe’, the Amtrak train was the primary mode of his transportation to his work in Washington DC from his home in Delaware, every night he rode back home from his office for 4 hours straight so that he could spend time with his kids. Lately, during his Vice Presidency, he lost his son Beau Biden who was only 46 due to brain cancer. Instilling with hardships Joe is all set to be sworn into the office on January 20, 2020.
